Hello and welcome to the Provider Pals teacher homepage! This is where you can access curriculum for your classroom and get answers to your questions. Use the links below to access the information.
My name is Lacie Farmer and I am Provider Pals Education Advisor. For the past five years, I have been working part time for the program - assisting during Provider Pal school visits and counseling at Camp Raven. I full heartedly believe in Provider Pal’s mission: to help build the bridges of cultural understanding between the students and their resource providers. That being said, my knowledge of the program and drive to help educate rural and urban youth will assist me in pursuing this wonderful opportunity to help integrate this program into schools throughout North America.
Just to let you know a little bit about myself, I received my teaching degree from Montana State University of Bozeman. After finishing college, I married my high school sweetheart and moved back to my home town, Libby, MT. I am now thrilled to take a larger role in Provider Pals by constructing
curriculum, being available to help my fellow teachers implement the program in their classroom, and help build the groundbreaking education online gaming site, Provider World.
Provider World is a new frontier for education; we are opening a world where students can learn about our natural resource providing professions and cultures through interactive, online gaming. They can play games and communicate with their peers and adopted Provider Pals from around the world in a safe, fun virtual environment. I encourage you to take full advantage of this awesome new addition to our program. Each of your students is sponsored, so this educational tool is another cost-free resource for your classroom.
Our standard based curriculum is easy to download and ready for you to use in your classroom! Your ID and password were given to you in your Provider Pal teacher’s manual. Simply click on the curriculum link, fill in your ID and password, and print your desired lesson. Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions, comments, or concerns regarding the curriculum, Provider World, or program in general. I will strive to make the Provider Pals Program a convenient educational tool that will both be enjoyable for your students and fulfill your educational standards. Again, welcome to the program - I hope to meet you all soon!
