My Game Won’t Upload or is Running Slow

Due to the nature of high-end flash worlds such as Provider World, load times and resource draw can be significant.  Here are a few options to consider:

  • Please try to refresh your web page. 
  • If this won’t help, you may need to clear your cache.
  • Your internet connection may be lost or computer may be too slow to download the game. If this is the case, you can often find a better option at your local library, school, or favorite coffee shop!
  • Also, please check to see if you have the latest Flash player.  Flash Player Download Center

I Need to Clear My Cache

Are you having trouble loading or playing within Provider World? Your browser may be caching an old version of the Provider World games.  Here’s how you can clear your web-cache in your browser.

Clearing your Cache in Internet Explorer:

  1. Go to the ‘Tools’ menu at the top of the Internet Explorer browser
  2. Select ‘Internet Options’
  3. Click to delete temporary internet files

In Firefox:

  1. Go to the 'Tools' menu at the top of the Firefox browser
  2. Select ‘Clear Private Data’
  3. Check the box for clearing your ‘Cache’
  4. Click the Clear Private Data Button

In Netscape:

  • Go to the ‘Tools’ menu at the top of the Netscape browser.
  • Select ‘Clear Private Data’
  • Check the box for clearing your ‘Cache’
  • Click the Clear Private Data Button

I Can’t Connect to the Server

  • Please check to see if you have the latest Flash Player on your computer.

  • If this doesn’t work, A firewall on your network may be blocking your connection to Provider World.  Please ask your network administrator or ISP to open port 9875. 
  • You can also try to open port 9875  in your firewall settings.

My Browser Doesn’t Work

  • Your Browser may not be compatible with Provider World.  Internet Explorer and Firefox are the browsers of choice.  If you do not have these browsers on your computer, we recommend downloading a choice browser below.

I Can’t Chat

  • Only paying or sponsored users can chat.  If you are a guest, please consider becoming a member.
  • You may be in SafeChat mode. If no moderator is on duty, live chat will be disabled, and no chat bar will be shown at the bottom of the screen.
  • Look for the CHAT button on the top left side of your screen – this is “SafeChat mode”. If you click on this button you will have a drop down menu with lots of options for communicating. 

I Forgot My Password

  • If you cannot remember your password, click here and we will send you a reminder through your registered email address. 

My Membership Card Doesn’t Work

  • Make sure you entered in your Username and Password correctly.
  • If you have registered but do not have access to your account, check your email for your automated email confirmation.
  • If none of the above works, please contact us.
