Lingo Games

• Learn the lingo of the land you are visiting. Use the arrows on your keyboard to steer and control the speed of your truck.
• If you answer the lingo questions correctly, you earn gas!  You want to collect gas cans, but avoid all other objects!
• Hint:  Check out the library to freshen up on the lingo!

 CAT Challenge

• You get to shadow a logger through a day in the forest!  First you need to sort all of the items a logger uses on the job.  Then in stage two, you have to place the correct machinery in its place on the logging site.  Lastly, you have to find and match tree names and shapes! 
• Hint:  Pick up and drag items to their correct places!  The faster you go, the more money you make!

Skidder Challenge

• You are a skidder operator for a day!  Your challenge: use the skidder to collect and transport logs to the landing area where the logs will then be put on a truck and hauled to the mill.
• Control the skidder by using the arrow keys on your keyboard.  Press the spacebar to pick up or drop a log. 
• Hint:  Don’t hit trees and be very careful not to drive on the wetlands or riparian zones!

Eco-Forestry Challenge

• You get to manage a forest…YOUR forest!  After the computer randomly generates a forest ecosystem, it is up to you to make wise choices! 
• You get to make a series of seasonal and yearly decisions like planting trees, clearing of brush, protection of wildlife and water, and harvesting your stand!
• The computer will track each and every action taken while managing your forest, and at the end of you will see what type of management job you accomplished!
• Hint:  If you have too much fuel in your forest, you may have a forest fire!   

Timber Trivia

• This is where we put your logger smarts to the test! There are 6 different areas of expertise you get to answer!  Spin the wheel and test your knowledge.  Choose the best answer and watch your points add up!
• Hint:  If you don’t know some of the answers, you may want to check out the library or play some of the challenges to freshen up!

Farm Gear Challenge

• Help!  Farmer Jill needs you to help sort out her work gear! But you better hurry, because the timer is ticking while you sort!
• Click on an item and find its place on the shelf.  Click where you want to release your item, and if it’s in the right spot, it will be put on the shelf.

Maze Game

• Plant six different crops in this fun, packman style maze game!  Every crop needs to be planted, watered, weeded, and harvested! Use your arrow keys to move your player around in the field!
• HINT: Keep the livestock in its pen or predators may catch a free meal!

Cow Sitting

• Farmer Jill is paying you $100 to take care of her cow for a few days! Taking care of a cow is a big responsibility and takes time - real time! 
• Every day you have to water, feed, clean its stall, milk, and vaccinate your cow!
• Remember, cows eat and drink more than once in the day, so you need to check on your cow a few times a day!
• HINT:  If you don’t take care of the cow properly, and Jill has to do your job, money will be deducted from your account and you may even get the cow taken back!  Yikes!

Farmland Facts

• How much do you know about farming?  Put your knowledge to the test in 6 different farming categories!  Spin the wheel and Ducky will select the category.  Choose the best answer and watch your points add up!
• Hint:  If you don’t know some of the answers, you may want to check out the library or play some of the challenges to freshen up!

Udder Nonsense

• Time to test your farm skills!  See if you can milk the dairy cow without an udder getting too full!  If an udder overflows, it splashes you and the game ends.
• HINT: Try to milk the udders in a rhythm.

Buzz Off

• Time to swat those pesky flies!  Use your fly swatter to knock them down.
• Bigger flies take more than one swat.  Swat all of the flies in each level before the time runs out.
• HINT: The better you get at swatting the flies, the more flies you will have to squish!

Blue Ribbon Bash

• Are you ready for the fair?  Have fun grooming your cow for the big show!
• You need to trim hooves, rinse, scrub and lather, rinse again, apply a conditioner, and brush your cow within the time limit.
• HINT: Follow the directions on the screen to win first prize!

Muck the Yuck

• Part of taking care of a farm is mucking the yuck.
• Here’s a great game to test your mucking skills in the dirty stalls. You have to shovel the muck, clean the stall, and replace the straw before your time runs out.
• HINT: If you need to use a different tool after a task is complete, the tool will glow on the wall!

Fast Food

• Here comes the produce!  You want to clear as much of the produce off of the screen as quickly as possible.
• Click on groups of 3 or more to clear off of the screen. You need to clear the number of rows left, shown on the right of the screen, before advancing to the next level.
• HINT: The faster you are, the quicker the produce will come to you!

Flip Out

• It’s time to play a quick game of memory. Try to match the cards on the screen before the time runs out.
• HINT: The more you flip, the harder this game becomes!

Market Madness

• It is time to take your produce to the market. You're given a list of what needs to go today (i.e. 20 heads of lettuce, 3 bunches of carrots and 6 pumpkins).
• Try to make groups of 3 or more with the produce complete the list.
• HINT: Don’t run out of time!
